Sultan Mustafa I

Sultan Mustafa ascended the Ottoman throne as the fifteenth sultan. He was born when his father was the Sanjak Bey in Manisa. He ascended the throne on 22 November 1617, after his brother Ahmed I died at a young age.  

His first power lasted for three months (97 days). Sultan Mustafa, on 20 May 1622, II. He was enthroned for the second time after Osman's murder. His Second Reign continued for one year and four months.  

The life he lived in the Palace when he was a prince had deteriorated his health. He did not have the opportunity to deal closely with the problems of the state. As the internal affairs of the state were mixed, wars continued in the east and west. As is customary for every sultan when he comes to the throne, Mustafa's honors were distributed to the soldiers and members of the hearth at the enthronement ceremony of Mustafa, who ascended the throne as the fifteenth sultan. Although Kapikulu received his military culus tips, they opposed Mustafa I's becoming sultan.  

Sultan Mustafa had a weak body, petite build, pale but beautiful face. His beard was sparse. He had big black eyes and pale eyes. He spent his life mostly in Üsküdar and Davutpaşa Palace.
